Flight Grounded and No Arrival at Heathrow
There was no indication of the chartered flight arriving at London Heathrow Airport on Thursday morning. The aircraft did not appear on flight tracking services or arrival boards at the terminal. Early morning arrivals included scheduled flights from South Africa and Nigeria, but the terminal was notably quiet. A few commercial flights from the Middle East were expected at Heathrow's Terminal 5, with one from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, landing just after 6am.
A British Airways flight from Muscat, originally due to arrive at 6.25am, was delayed until 8.13am, as shown on arrival boards. Flights from Doha and Dubai have been cancelled, adding to the travel disruptions in the region.

Approximately 130,000 Britons have registered their presence in the Middle East with authorities. The Foreign Office has stated it is actively working with airlines to facilitate their return.
