Pauline Hanson has been gifted a luxurious private plane worth more than $1.5 million by mining magnate Gina Rinehart, as a group of the billionaire's associates donate an additional $2 million to the resurgent One Nation party.
In a social media video addressing the Guardian on Wednesday, the One Nation leader boasted about the acquisition of the new Cirrus G7 aircraft.
'BREAKING NEWS – I've got a new plane, Sarah,' Hanson said in the post, appearing to take a dig at Guardian Australia journalist Sarah Martin.
'Yes it was donated. Yes I'm super happy. Yes it's fast. Yes it's amazing. Yes it's going to annoy the Guardian. Yes it means I can visit more regional towns across the country more often. Yes it's a Cirrus G7. Yes it's sexy. Yes I have a pilot,' she added.
