I'm A Celeb Star: Contract Warning Like 'Rap on Knuckles'

A contestant on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! has alleged that producers reminded them of key contractual obligations following the dramatic finale, describing the experience as a 'rap over the knuckles'. The warning comes after a heated on-air row last Friday saw Gemma Collins and Sinitta walk off the set, with hosts Ant and Dec struggling to maintain order.

Contract Clauses Flagged After Finale Drama

According to a source close to one campmate, sections of their contracts—including clauses prohibiting bringing the show or ITV into disrepute—were highlighted to them. The source told The Sun: 'This star felt they were being reminded about what is included in their contracts. They said it felt like a rap over the knuckles.'

An insider shared specific wording from the contracts: 'They shall not at any time (without the specific prior consent of the ITV press and publicity team)… knowingly divulge, publish…any information in connection with this Agreement, the Programme, its production and exploitation, the Services, the other participants in the Programme, trade secrets etc.'

Ongoing Feuds and Accusations

The series has been marred by conflict. David Haye faced accusations of bullying Adam Thomas after calling him 'weak' and 'useless' when Thomas cited his psoriatic arthritis to excuse himself from a trial. Haye reportedly said he didn't 'give a s**t' about Thomas's condition. Additionally, Adam Thomas clashed with Jimmy Bullard after Bullard quit a trial mid-way, potentially jeopardising Thomas's participation. Thomas swore at Bullard but later apologised; Bullard, however, insisted Thomas was 'aggressive' and 'intimidating', and criticised ITV for not showing the full footage. ITV defended their edit as 'fair and accurate'.

David Haye Considering Legal Action

Reports have emerged that David Haye is planning to sue ITV for up to £10 million, alleging that the show's edit caused 'irreparable damage to his brand'. Haye has reportedly instructed a legal team. The Mirror has approached ITV for comment.

The fallout from the finale continues to dominate headlines, with the cast reportedly divided over the ongoing feud between Jimmy Bullard and Adam Thomas.
