Lip King Manslaughter Investigation Closed Following Suspect's Death
The manslaughter investigation into the death of a mother-of-five, who passed away after undergoing a non-surgical Brazilian butt lift procedure, has been formally closed. This decision comes in the wake of the recent death of the primary suspect, Jordan James Parke, widely known as the British Lip King.
Family Announces Tragic Loss of Jordan James Parke
Jordan James Parke's sister confirmed his passing in a heartfelt social media tribute earlier this week. She expressed profound grief, stating, "I simply have no words to even comprehend this. This is going to be the hardest post I will ever have to write." She described Parke as "our beautiful, funny most amazing Jordan James Parke" and revealed he died on Wednesday, 18th February 2026. The family urged the public to remember him fondly, dismissing any negative speculation surrounding his death.
Gloucestershire Police Confirm Closure of Investigation
Following Parke's death, Gloucestershire Police have announced the closure of their criminal investigation into the death of Alice Webb, a 33-year-old woman who died on 24th September 2024 after becoming unwell post-cosmetic treatment. Parke had been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with her death but was never formally charged. A police spokesperson explained, "We have been informed the man who was on police bail died recently, and therefore the criminal investigation will close as no charges can be brought." Inquiries will continue on behalf of the coroner, with inquests into both deaths scheduled to proceed.
Alice Webb's Family Reacts to the News
Alice Webb's sister, April, shared her mixed emotions with ITV, acknowledging the complexity of the situation. She said, "We have heard the news that Jordan Parke has died. This brings mixed emotions, as it inevitably reminds us of the deeply painful loss of Alice." Despite the closure of the criminal case, the family remains committed to advocating for stricter regulations in the cosmetic industry to prevent similar tragedies. April emphasised, "Our focus remains on honouring Alice's memory and advocating for meaningful change."
Metropolitan Police Investigate Parke's Unexplained Death
In a related development, the Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation into Jordan James Parke's own death, which occurred on 18th February 2026 in Canary Wharf. Officers were called to reports of an unconscious man and sadly declared him dead at the scene. Subsequently, a 43-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with Parke's death and have been bailed pending further inquiries. Police are treating his death as unexplained and are exploring initial lines of enquiry, including information that suggests he may have been undergoing a cosmetic procedure prior to his demise.
