NFL wide receiver Sterling Shepard was spotted embracing his new single status as he partied at Stagecoach festival over the weekend. The recent Tampa Bay Buccaneers star was all smiles as he let loose in the Coachella Valley in California shortly after breaking off his engagement to Carolyn Moore.
Breakup Announcement
Shepard and the stunning influencer split earlier this month on April 15, with Moore announcing that their engagement had fallen apart just days before Stagecoach festival. But the wideout did not appear to be nursing a heartbreak as he hit the desert for a weekend of country music.
Fresh off his breakup, Shepard was seen beaming as he posed for the camera at the wildly popular festival, which was also attended by Sydney Sweeney and Ella Langley over the weekend. In snaps shared to his Instagram, Shepard could be seen showing off his toned arms in a white tank and grey jeans. He topped off the look with a baseball cap, sunglasses, and a navy neckerchief tied around his belt loops.
Festival Fun
He was captured laughing with other members of his party, which appeared to include fellow NFL star Cooper DeJean, as he clutched a drink. Shepard simply captioned the Instagram carousel, '#Stagecoach2026.'
Just days earlier, Moore had announced their split on social media, saying that she is focusing on herself and her son, Lion, who is from a previous relationship, per TMZ. 'Grateful for all the love + support of my [people,]' Moore wrote, adding that she is 'continuing to trust God with this next chapter.' It is unclear what led to their split. Shepard has not publicly commented on the breakup.
Relationship History
The couple had been together for over three years, first going public with their romance in March 2023, when the pair vacationed together in Turks & Caicos. Shepard, who previously played eight seasons with the New York Giants, popped the question just last year. He was previously married to supermodel Chanel Iman, with whom he shares two daughters, Cali Clay and Cassie Snow. Shepard and Iman finalized their divorce in April 2023 after the NFL player filed in 2021 after five years together.
NFL Future
Meanwhile, Shepard's NFL future is in doubt, with it currently unclear if the Buccaneers intend to re-sign him in free agency. Last season - his second in Tampa Bay - Shepard played in 13 games and caught 34 passes for 349 yards and a touchdown. He was a healthy scratch for the last four games of the regular season.
