Man Utd to Debut New Kit vs Nottingham Forest

Manchester United will reportedly debut next season's new home kit during their Premier League run-in, with the club set to wear the 2026/27 strip in their final two matches of the campaign.

Kit Change Details

According to a report from the Manchester Evening News, United will wear the new Adidas home kit in their upcoming fixtures against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on May 17 and Brighton at the Amex Stadium on May 24. The change comes as the club prepares for the summer transfer window and a permanent managerial appointment.

Champions League Qualification Boosts Revenue

United secured Champions League qualification last weekend with a victory over Liverpool, triggering an additional £10 million payment from kit supplier Adidas. The Red Devils also benefit from a £60 million-per-season sponsorship deal with Snapdragon (Qualcomm Technologies) that runs until 2029. In 2023, United extended their partnership with Adidas for 10 years in a deal worth approximately £900 million.

Carrick's Interim Role

Interim head coach Michael Carrick, appointed in January, has guided United to a top-five finish. When asked about his future ahead of the Sunderland match, Carrick stated: "Listen, clarity is important. It was always spoken about towards the end of the season, so nothing has really changed. I'm calm about it, it'll get sorted when it's going to get sorted. It's out of my hands, so we'll see what happens."

United have three remaining league fixtures: away to Sunderland, home to Nottingham Forest, and away to Brighton. The new kit is expected to be worn in the final two games.
