Wardley vs Dubois: All-British Heavyweight Title Fight Preview

This week, Fabio Wardley and Daniel Dubois will meet in a heavyweight title bout that always excites boxing fans: an all-British showdown. Wardley enters the main event with an unbeaten record, having rescued himself in his last two fights. Against Justis Huni and later Joseph Parker, the Ipswich boxer was trailing on the scorecards before securing late knockouts.

The October win over Parker earned Wardley, 31, the interim WBO title, later upgraded when Oleksandr Usyk vacated the regular belt. A victory over Dubois, 28, could bring Wardley closer to a fight with Usyk.

Dubois' Recent Defeat

Last July, Dubois suffered his second stoppage loss to Usyk, losing the IBF title. However, he remains a dangerous opponent, and a knockout feels likely when he faces Wardley.
