Prize Money Breakdown
The player who lifts the trophy on Monday evening will receive £500,000, while the runner-up will take home £200,000. Semi-finalists Mark Allen and John Higgins each earned £100,000 for their runs. The four quarter-finalists were awarded £50,000 each, and those exiting in the last 16 received £30,000. Even first-round losers pocketed £20,000, contributing to a total prize fund of £2,395,000.

The opening session on Sunday ended 4-4 after Wu took a 3-0 lead before Murphy fought back. In the evening session, Wu dominated, winning six of nine frames, including a 103 century break, to lead 10-7 overnight. The third session resumed on Monday at 1pm, with eight frames scheduled.
