Three men sustained injuries in the crash. The driver of the Skoda was treated at the hospital for a leg injury. The two male occupants of the Volkswagen Golf were also transported to hospital with injuries described by authorities as non-life-threatening.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed their role, stating: "Two cars were involved with one person trapped in each vehicle. An extrication was carried out by fire service personnel and casualties transferred to hospital by ambulance."
