A major police operation is underway in Oklahoma after a shooting at a lakeside party left ten people hospitalised. The suspect remains at large, though authorities say there is no ongoing threat to the public.

The shooting occurred just after 9pm on Sunday, May 3, at a party near Arcadia Lake, east of Edmond. Witnesses reported hearing around 30 gunshots. Police from the Edmond Police Department, Oklahoma City Police, and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
Emergency personnel transported ten victims to various hospitals across the Oklahoma City metro area. The total number of victims is expected to change as additional individuals may have taken themselves to hospitals. There is no update on the conditions of the victims at this time.
Police Statement
Edmond Police Department released a statement saying: "The Edmond Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred just after 9pm at a party at Arcadia Lake. Edmond Police, along with Oklahoma City Police and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, responded to the scene and located numerous victims."
They added: "There are no suspects in custody. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Edmond Police Department at (405) 359-4338."

According to witnesses, the party involved a large group of young adults. The suspect fled the scene and remains at large. Police are interviewing witnesses and continuing their investigation.
