Details of the Assault

According to police statements, the victim was walking along New George Street at approximately 3am when she was approached by an unknown male suspect. The man initiated a conversation with her before attempting to pull her top down. He then followed the victim, dragged her to the ground, and placed his hand over her mouth in an attempt to silence her.

The victim managed to scream, which alerted a passerby and caused the suspect to flee the scene. The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s, with visible tattoos on his forearms and wearing a black puffa-style jacket at the time of the assault.
