Beckham Wedding Planner Breaks Silence on Family Feud, Defends Brooklyn and Nicola
Beckham Wedding Planner Breaks Silence on Family Feud

Preston Bailey, the renowned wedding planner who orchestrated the lavish 2022 ceremony for Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, has publicly waded into the couple's ongoing family feud. In a surprising intervention, Bailey has expressed his astonishment at the model's recent criticisms of his parents, Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham, while staunchly defending the character of both Brooklyn and his wife Nicola.

Wedding Planner's Perspective on the Beckham-Peltz Union

Speaking candidly to Page Six, Preston Bailey, whose illustrious clientele includes Oprah Winfrey, Mariah Carey, and Michael Douglas, described his direct experience with the couple during the wedding planning process. He portrayed Brooklyn, now 26, as "a nice, gentle guy" and a "regular person" who was actively involved in the design details for their big day.

"I can tell you about my experience with Brooklyn," Bailey stated. "While we were planning, clearly as far as the details for the design, he was very much involved. I have always thought of him as a gentle, decent guy. There was never any tension."

Defending Nicola Peltz Against 'Bossy' Allegations

Bailey also directly addressed recent allegations aimed at Nicola Peltz, the 31-year-old actress. He firmly rejected characterisations of her as demanding or overbearing during the wedding preparations.

"I don’t remember her being bossy," he asserted. "I remember a lot of affection between them (Nicola and Brooklyn). Whatever design was done was presented to Nicola, but it was important for her to have Brooklyn approve it. She wasn’t going to do anything without his approval."

This defence comes amid revelations that Nicola reportedly struggled to call her husband's parents by their names, adding another layer to the complex family dynamics.

The Escalating Public Feud

Bailey's comments follow Brooklyn Beckham's scathing public statement about his estrangement from his famous parents. The aspiring chef has made several serious allegations, including claims that his mother, Lady Victoria, danced "inappropriately" at the wedding, causing him embarrassment. Fans have since urged Brooklyn to release footage of the alleged incident to substantiate his claims.

Further accusations from Brooklyn suggest that Lady Victoria cancelled plans for her atelier to create Nicola's wedding dress and that both parents pressured him to "sign away the right to my name" before the nuptials.

The Beckhams' Response and Continued Defiance

Despite the very public allegations from their son, Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham have maintained a dignified silence on the specifics while continuing their professional lives. This week, Lady Victoria was in Paris to accept a prestigious award, where she delivered an emotional tribute to her family without directly naming any individuals.

"This is not the achievement of just one person," she said during her acceptance speech. "From design and the atelier, to the production and communication teams, and the many minds and hands working together — it is a collaborative effort, and this distinction isn't mine alone. So I'd like to thank my incredible team for their dedication, creativity and trust. Thank you to my parents and to my children who are always believing in my vision."

The wedding planner's unexpected intervention adds a new, authoritative voice to a family drama that has captivated public attention for months, offering a contrasting perspective from someone who witnessed the couple's relationship during what should have been their happiest time.
