Binky Felstead's Christmas Heartache: Pining for Daughter India on Mexico Holiday
Binky Felstead spends Christmas apart from daughter India

Reality TV personality Binky Felstead has opened up about spending the festive season away from her eldest daughter, sharing her heartfelt longing during a luxurious family trip to Mexico.

A Sun-Soaked Getaway With a Notable Absence

The former Made In Chelsea star, 35, flew to Central America for the holidays with her husband, Max Darnton, and their two young sons, four-year-old Wolfie and two-year-old Wilder. However, the family party was incomplete. Conspicuously absent was Felstead's eight-year-old daughter, India, whom she shares with her ex-partner, Joshua Pattison.

It is understood that India remained in the UK to celebrate Christmas with her father. From her beachfront retreat, Binky posted a series of stunning Instagram photos but accompanied them with a poignant message acknowledging her daughter's absence.

'She's On My Mind Every Day'

"Soaking up everything this place gives," Felstead wrote. "The most amazing sunrises and sunsets, glorious food, long evenings, our room on the beach, turtles swimming past... Everything’s here… except one very important person. She may not be here, but she’s on my mind every day."

The gallery of snaps showed Binky smiling with a cocktail at a beach bar and playing in the sand with her boys as the sun set. The joyful scenes were underpinned by the clear emotion she felt for her missing child.

This holiday separation came shortly after Felstead enjoyed a special pre-Christmas weekend in London with India, where they watched The Nutcracker and went ice skating.

Juggling Motherhood, Career and Sleepless Nights

In a recent candid interview, the television star revealed the exhausting realities of parenting three children, admitting she hasn't had a full night's sleep in eight years since her first child was born. "I'm definitely just exhausted," she confessed, explaining that her children take turns waking her and her husband throughout the night.

Despite the fatigue, Felstead meticulously plans her work life around her family. "I just make everything work around my kids because they're not young for long," she stated, highlighting the flexibility of her career.

When asked about expanding her family further with husband Max, she was surprisingly open. "It's definitely not a no," Binky said. "If I was lucky enough to have a fourth, it definitely isn't off the cards. But currently, three is great. We're juggling enough." She also humorously contrasted her spontaneous parenting style with Max's highly organised approach.

Alongside managing a hectic household, Felstead maintains a rigorous fitness regime. She developed a passion for exercise after India's birth in 2017 and now works out four or five times a week, often in a home gym at the end of her garden. "It sets me up for the rest of the day," she explained.

Her diet focuses on balance rather than strict rules, with a preference for spicy, savoury foods over sweets. "It's all about the balance," she concluded, a philosophy that seems to extend to her complex and loving family life.
