On Friday, the 49-year-old performer, known for her role as D.J. Tanner, utilised Instagram to remember the beloved comedian. Saget, who played her television father Danny Tanner on the iconic sitcom Full House, died unexpectedly in 2022 at the age of 65.
Bure posted a carousel of images capturing moments from their long friendship, captioning it simply yet powerfully: 'I miss you. Not just today, but every day.' She directly tagged Saget's Instagram account, which has remained inactive since his final post on January 9, 2022—the very day he died.
A Bond Forged on Screen and Beyond
Their professional relationship spanned decades, beginning with ABC's Full House, which aired from 1987 to 1995. They later reunited to reprise their roles for the Netflix sequel series, Fuller House, from 2016 to 2020.
Saget was found dead in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando four years ago. Authorities ruled out foul play, with the medical examiner later concluding he had suffered blunt head trauma from an accidental fall. His death came shortly after he had begun a US comedy tour, having enthusiastically posted about a performance online just hours before.
