She described her first impression of him: "I remember the first time I opened the door – and I didn't know this was Jarrod Bowen, right? And he was hot! Blue eyes, blonde hair – a bit of me."
As a new mother at the time, Dani was hesitant about starting a relationship, but her parents, including actor Danny Dyer, encouraged her to embrace the opportunity. She revealed, "In the end, I was getting to a point where my mum and dad were like, ‘Listen, Dani, you're going to end up losing him. Stop it! Like, 'He wants to take you and Santi on. He's more than happy to do that. So just appreciate that and be happy that he wants to.’"

She shared, "The first year after becoming a mum, I used to torture myself and try and put my old jeans on. In the end my mum was like 'Dan just get rid of them'. It is hard going through that phase because none of your clothes previously fit you... It is trying to find yourself again. I think after you become a mum you drastically change and then you do have to find new looks."
Offering advice to other mothers, Dani emphasised, "I think with confidence we do have our ups and downs, don’t we? Especially as a woman, like we only really have a certain cycle of the month where we actually feel normal. We all struggle with confidence."
