Holly Swinburn, the former partner of Jeff Brazier's son Freddy, has shared significant news about their impending arrival, disclosing the baby's gender and the deeply personal name they have chosen.
A Tribute to a Late Mother
The 22-year-old expectant mother confirmed to The Sun that she is carrying a baby girl, with the birth expected around the end of March. In a touching gesture, the couple plan to honour Freddy's late mother, the beloved reality TV star Jade Goody, by giving their daughter the middle name Jade.
Holly explained that while she offered to use Jade as the baby's first name, she and Freddy, 21, mutually decided it might invite undue pressure. "I think he felt it might come with too much expectation, pressure and comparisons," she stated. The chosen first name is Isla, making the full name Isla Jade.
Co-Parenting After a Split
Despite the couple's separation, Holly emphasised that communication has been maintained solely for the welfare of their unborn child. She revealed that Freddy has attended several pregnancy scans with her and that they spent time before Christmas at the home of his father, Jeff Brazier, to prepare for the baby's arrival.
"We are communicating for the sake of the baby," Holly affirmed, adding that Jeff has been "a big help to us and is very generous." The pair began dating in June 2024 after connecting on TikTok, and Holly discovered she was pregnant just two months later, in August.
Allegations and a Focus on the Future
However, Holly's comments also shed light on the difficulties within their past relationship. She alleged that Freddy had called her offensive names, including "fat" and a "s***", leading her to end the relationship despite initially staying for the baby's sake.
She expressed understanding for the trauma Freddy experienced losing his mother as a child but stated she must now prioritise creating a stable environment. "I now want to focus on my wellbeing and creating a stable environment for my baby," Holly said.
When approached for comment on these claims, a representative for Freddy Brazier told The Mirror: "We are aware of the claims that have been made and have made the decision not to address them at this time. Freddie remains committed to cooperating where appropriate and to making the right decisions for the well-being of everyone involved, especially the child on the way."
This family news follows the recent separation of Freddy's father, Jeff Brazier, from his wife Kate Dwyer after seven years of marriage. Reports have suggested that Freddy and his older brother Bobby, 22, never fully accepted Kate as a stepmother.
