Harry Styles Announces Together Together Tour with Limited Global Dates
Global pop sensation Harry Styles is set to return to the stage with his highly anticipated Together Together Tour this May, marking his first major concert series since 2023. The 31-year-old former One Direction star has unveiled plans for what is being billed as a 'global' residency, though it encompasses just seven cities across six countries.
Tour Schedule and Australian Highlights
The tour will include four stadium shows in Australia, with performances scheduled at Melbourne's Marvel Stadium on November 27 and 28, followed by the final two concerts in Sydney on December 12 and 13. In total, Styles will play approximately 50 shows, with the itinerary also featuring stops in the United Kingdom, the United States, the Netherlands, Mexico, and Brazil.
Fan Backlash Over Limited Scope
Despite the excitement surrounding his musical comeback, the announcement has sparked significant disappointment among some of Styles' dedicated fanbase. Many have taken to social media to express their frustration, criticising the tour's narrow geographical reach given its 'world tour' branding.
One fan commented on Instagram, 'Harry, in my opinion, you need to be together in more parts of the world,' while another added, 'Nah real cuz what do you mean world tour with 7 cities??' Further criticism included remarks such as 'Tour, not world tour,' and a joking observation, 'That's funny, cos I thought I heard world tour.'
Ticket Sales and VIP Packages
Tickets for the Australian leg of the tour will become available to the general public on January 30, with staggered release times. Early access will be granted to fans who pre-order Styles' upcoming album, as well as American Express cardholders, starting from January 27. Live Nation will also host a presale event on January 29.
For those seeking an exclusive experience, VIP packages are on offer, which include opportunities such as a meet and greet with the star himself.
New Music and Tour Details
The tour announcement coincides with the release of Styles' new single, Aperture, which dropped at midnight on Friday in the UK. His forthcoming album, titled KISS ALL THE TIME. DISCO, OCCASIONALLY, is scheduled for release on Friday, March 6.
The Together Together Tour will commence in Amsterdam on May 16 and conclude with the Sydney shows in December. Throughout the tour, Styles will be accompanied by a roster of special guests, including Robyn, Shania Twain, Fcukers, Jorja Smith, Jamie xx, Fousheé, and Skye Newman.
In addition to the Australian dates, the residency includes performances in Amsterdam, London, São Paulo, Mexico City, and a notable 30-night engagement in New York, underscoring the intensive yet concentrated nature of this global tour.
