Model Holly Ramsay and Olympic swimming champion Adam Peaty have tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony at the historic Bath Abbey. The 25-year-old bride made her entrance to the church hand-in-hand with her world-renowned father, TV chef Gordon Ramsay, on Saturday 27 December 2025.
A Veiled Arrival and Bridal Party Style
Holly Ramsay kept her wedding dress a closely guarded secret until the last moment, arriving at the abbey shrouded in a white cloak. Well-wishers gathered outside caught only a glimpse of lace detailing and a scalloped skirt with a long train. The bride opted for a dewy makeup look, her hair styled in an elegant up-do and finished with a veil.
Her bridesmaids, which included her sisters Tilly, 24, and Megan, 27, wore striking floor-length red gowns with a satin finish, each carrying a bouquet of what appeared to be calla lilies. Their mother, Tana Ramsay, chose a sophisticated bottle green dress for the occasion.
Celebrity Guests and Groom's Entrance
Before the bride's arrival, the groom, Adam Peaty – who turns 31 on Sunday – was seen looking sharp in a tuxedo as he entered the abbey with his groomsmen. The guest list was a who's who of British celebrity, with former footballer Sir David Beckham, his wife Victoria, and their children Romeo, Cruz, and Harper in attendance.
Other famous faces making their way into the church included MasterChef: The Professionals presenter Marcus Wareing and Dragons' Den investor Sara Davies. Davies, 41, shares a connection with the couple, having also been a contestant on the 2021 series of Strictly Come Dancing, where Peaty and Holly's sister Tilly first met.
Father of the Bride's Emotional Tribute
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, 59, shared his pride on social media ahead of the ceremony. In an Instagram post, he told his daughter, "I couldn't be a prouder dad", adding that he felt "truly so lucky" to walk her down the aisle and gain "an incredible son-in-law".
The Ramsay family was out in full force for the wedding. Holly is one of Gordon and Tana's six children, with her other siblings being 25-year-old Jack, six-year-old Oscar, and two-year-old Jesse.
The couple announced their engagement in September 2024, with Holly calling Peaty her "best friend" and the swimmer declaring himself "the luckiest man on earth". On the morning of the wedding, Peaty posted a sunrise photo to his Instagram story with the caption: "Morning of our wedding."
The wedding comes amid reports of family strife on the Peaty side. The champion swimmer from Staffordshire, a six-time Olympic medalist, was previously in a relationship with Eirianedd Munro, with whom he has a five-year-old son, George-Anderson.
