'Never a dull moment in our house!' Jessica wrote at the time, explaining the context of Allegra finishing her HSC exams alongside the family's daily chaos. She confirmed Peter was under strict instructions to rest and recover, noting it would be some time before he returned to his broadcasting duties.
In her post, Jessica also took the opportunity to praise the healthcare professionals who treated her husband, stating: 'A special shout out to our healthcare system, the emergency nurses, physios, doctors & specialist surgeons who are the most remarkable, caring & compassionate people. We are very lucky.'
