Kylie Jenner, 28, joined her boyfriend Timothee Chalamet, 30, on Wednesday to support his beloved New York Knicks as they faced off against the Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden. The reality TV star and the Oscar-nominated actor were seen sharing several kisses during their front-row date, despite recent backlash from fans accusing Chalamet of abandoning Jenner at the Met Gala to attend the NBA playoffs.
A Casual Date Night
Just two days after turning heads at fashion's biggest night with a revealing fake nipple dress, Jenner opted for a more relaxed look for the basketball game. She showcased her toned arms in a simple white tank top paired with blue jeans, while her long black hair was styled in a chic ponytail. A blue crocodile Hermes Birkin bag, valued between $40,000 and $80,000, sat at her feet. She completed the outfit with pointed-toe red heels and carried a red jacket for warmth.
Chalamet matched her casual vibe with a bold red Avirex leather jacket, blue jeans, and brown worker boots. He later removed the jacket to reveal a long-sleeve grey shirt. At one point during the game, Chalamet leaped to his feet in celebration, flexing his muscles while Jenner sipped a drink beside him.
Star-Studded Crowd
The couple enjoyed the game alongside a host of celebrities, including actor Ben Stiller, who sat just a few seats away. Rap mogul Jay-Z, 56, was also in attendance, mingling with former basketball player Walt Frazier, 81. Actress Jaimie Alexander, 42, attended with orthopaedic sports medicine surgeon Robert Parisien, while comedian Tracy Morgan was present as well.
Met Gala Controversy
The outing came after Chalamet faced criticism for skipping the Met Gala on Monday to watch the Knicks play. The star of Marty Supreme shunned the glitz at Manhattan's Metropolitan Museum of Art, instead heading to the NBA playoffs where the Knicks trounced the 76ers 137-98. Jenner attended the Met Gala solo, wearing a shocking flesh-colored Schiaparelli gown with a nipple-teasing bodice.
Chalamet did not address his absence on social media, instead posting a picture of his baby blue Adidas Samba sneakers courtside. While some TikTok users praised his decision as relatable, Jenner fans expressed disappointment. One wrote, "He never supports Kylie when it's about her, but she always supports him."
This marks the second consecutive year Chalamet has chosen the Knicks over the Met Gala. Last May, he watched the game on an iPad with three friends, later explaining, "I had to be locked in, man."
The couple, who made their red carpet debut at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards in May 2025, have been dating for over three years.
