Laura Woods Shares Festive Photos After On-Air Collapse

Sports broadcaster Laura Woods has delighted fans by sharing a series of heartwarming family photos from her Christmas celebrations, appearing radiant and healthy just weeks after a worrying on-air collapse.

A Joyful Festive Celebration

The 38-year-old presenter looked stunning in a black sequin minidress with multicoloured detailing and long sleeves as she posed with her family on Tuesday. She completed her festive look with beige house slippers and wore her blonde hair in a half-up, half-down style, beaming alongside her loved ones.

Her fiancé, former Love Island star Adam Collard, 30, matched the occasion in a black shirt and trousers paired with trainers. The star of the show, however, was their 11-month-old son Leo, who looked adorable in a navy onesie printed with Santas, which he wore with orange socks.

Laura captioned the carousel of images simply: 'A Very Merry Christmas.'

Family Moments and Heartwarming Snaps

The collection of photos offered an intimate glimpse into the family's holiday. Laura shared several solo shots with baby Leo, both grinning from ear to ear. The close bond between father and son was also evident, with one photo showing Leo sitting on Adam's lap during a trip to the barbers.

Another tender image captured a dinner-time moment, with Adam eating a steak while Leo sat beside him in a high chair. The album also included:

  • Group shots with extended family.
  • Images of a lavish Christmas dinner spread.
  • A video of football pundit Ally McCoist singing.
  • A sweet photo of Leo being held by someone in a snowman costume.
  • An outdoor snap of Leo in a navy onesie and beanie, surrounded by trees.

Recovering After a Scary On-Air Incident

The joyful update comes after a frightening incident in October, when Laura collapsed live on air while fronting ITV4's coverage of the England Lionesses' clash against Ghana. Pundits Ian Wright and Anita Asante reacted swiftly to catch her before cameras cut away.

Audio briefly continued, with Wright, 62, heard asking 'Are you OK?' Woods was replaced for the remainder of the broadcast by stand-in presenter Katie Shanahan.

Later that evening, following England's 2-0 win, Laura provided a positive update. She revealed she was 'okay' after being treated by paramedics, who suggested it was 'probably a virus' and that she needed rest and hydration.

'I'm really embarrassed that happened on TV,' she wrote at the time, 'but a big thank you to my colleagues at ITV who have really looked after me tonight. And to Wrighty and Neets for catching me. And sorry again.'

Her latest festive photos serve as a reassuring and happy visual confirmation of her full recovery, showing the presenter back to her best and enjoying precious time with her young family.
