Lorna Luxe Shares Husband's Final Gift Before His Death

Influencer Lorna Luxe has revealed the heartbreaking final gift her late husband John Andrews made for her just days before his death, following a courageous battle with stage four adrenal cancer. The emotional disclosure came after John sadly passed away at the age of 64, with Lorna sharing intimate details of their final moments together.

A Tear-Jerking Discovery in the Mail

Shortly after John's death, Lorna was sorting through her mail when she stumbled upon a delivery addressed to her husband, intended for Valentine's Day. Opening the package, she found a trio of handmade cards that John had prepared in his final days, describing the discovery as giving her the "chuckle" she needed during this difficult time.

The Three Poignant Cards

The first card featured a cartoon man sitting on a toilet with the caption: "Happy Valentine's. This was me picking this card." Another showed John's face morphed onto Cupid's body with the message: "Be mine, Valentine." The third card transformed Lorna into the Mona Lisa, accompanied by the words: "You're a work of art."

Sharing her thoughts on social media, Lorna wrote: "I've been opening mail and this big envelope addressed to John arrived a couple of weeks ago, so I opened it. Legendary behaviour here John, it was the chuckle I needed."

Final Moments and Heartbreaking Statement

Alongside the cards, Lorna shared a previously unseen video clip showing John kissing her head while saying: "I love you so much, and you are the best thing in the world for me." In a heartbreaking statement announcing his death, Lorna revealed: "My beautiful, brave John died yesterday. I am heartbroken. We were together to the very end, at home, in our own bed and holding hands which is exactly what he wanted."

She continued: "The last conversation we had I asked him how he was feeling and he replied 'rough but in love' and that was so him, to the point and choosing to put aside his fears to make me feel cherished and loved."

Gratitude for Caregivers

Lorna expressed deep gratitude for the district nurses who provided daily support, particularly mentioning Anna as John's favorite nurse, whom she described as "a real life angel." She also thanked her mother for keeping her strong during this challenging period.

John's Cancer Battle

John had been diagnosed with stage four adrenal cancer in April 2023. After undergoing treatment, the former banker entered remission, but the cancer returned in 2024 and spread to his brain. Despite surgery and defying the odds initially, his condition eventually deteriorated.

On February 7, just days before his death, Lorna had told fans she didn't know how much time she had left with her husband and had canceled event appearances to remain by his side constantly as his health declined.

Lorna has been keeping her followers updated throughout this difficult journey, sharing both the challenges and precious moments of their final days together.
