Love Island Duo Molly Smith and Tom Clare Display Coordinated Style After Gym Workout
Molly Smith and her fiancé Tom Clare presented a picture-perfect couple image as they departed a Barry's gym class in Manchester on Friday. The pair, who triumphed on Love Island: All Stars two years prior, appeared in high spirits following their intense workout session. Both were deeply immersed in preparations for their upcoming summer 2026 wedding celebrations.
Fashionable Fitness Attire with Designer Flair
For the exercise class, Molly, aged 31, showcased a sporty aesthetic in a sleek black zip-up jacket and form-fitting shorts that highlighted her toned physique. She completed the ensemble with white gym socks and vibrant orange trainers, carrying her personal items in a sophisticated beige Louis Vuitton keepall bag.
Tom complemented her look perfectly, displaying his muscular build in a black sleeveless vest and matching gym shorts. He smiled warmly for photographers while walking alongside Molly. Mirroring his fiancée, the former Love Island contestant also carried a classic Louis Vuitton keepall bag and wore chunky white-and-black trainers.
Emotional Engagement Story Revealed on Podcast
This public appearance follows Molly's recent revelation about the emotional moment Tom requested her father's permission for marriage. During an episode of their new podcast, NearlyWeds, Tom recounted the touching incident that occurred at a family barbecue.
Tom explained: "When I asked your dad for permission to marry you, we were hosting a family barbecue. Both our families were present. I needed to ask before we went away, so I invited him to the garage under false pretenses. I told him, 'John, obviously Molly and I are going away, and I really want to propose. I wanted to ask for your permission first.' He became tearful immediately and gave me a big, heartfelt hug, which felt incredibly special." Molly responded simply: "It's quite reassuring, isn't it?"
Wedding Planning Challenges and Decisions
The couple disclosed to Daily Mail last month that they remain undecided between France and Spain for their wedding destination. They have yet to visit their shortlisted venues, and Molly hasn't begun wedding dress shopping. The pressure of organizing such a significant event in a limited timeframe is becoming apparent.
Molly admitted: "I have a countdown on my phone tracking the days until our wedding, and I'm starting to experience mini panic attacks each morning when it alerts me. We've narrowed our search to two venues but need to make the final selection. You must visit locations personally to gauge the atmosphere properly—photographs alone aren't sufficient."
Tom added: "We're planning an overseas wedding but remain torn between Spain and France. The location must accommodate our family members practically and financially. We want everyone important to attend without excessive stress or expense. It's challenging to coordinate everything within our timeline."
Relationship Journey and Professional Success
Tom proposed to Molly in Dubai during September last year, marking another milestone in their relationship that began when they met in South Africa two years ago. Despite wedding planning anxieties, they approach all decisions collaboratively as a team.
Molly expressed particular nervousness about wedding dress shopping: "I've been saving inspiration from Instagram and will schedule appointments soon. The uncertainty about our venue makes it difficult to establish a clear vision. Honestly, I'm not looking forward to it—there's always that fear of not finding the perfect dress."
Since winning Love Island: All Stars in 2024, Molly has secured multiple lucrative brand partnerships with companies including boohoo, Alani Nu supplements, Abbott Lyon jewellery, L'Oréal Paris, and Maybelline cosmetics. The couple remains one of the most enduring pairs from the spin-off series, having navigated public attention while building their life together.
