Adam Peaty's Sister Bethany Flaunts Lavish Bridesmaid Gifts Amid Family Feud
Peaty's Sister Shows Off Ramsay Bridesmaid Gifts

The sister of Olympic champion Adam Peaty has shared details of the extravagant presents she received for her role as a bridesmaid at her brother's wedding, an event marred by a bitter family rift that saw most of the Peaty clan excluded.

Lavish Gifts and a Prominent Role

Bethany Peaty, Adam's older sister, took to Instagram to showcase the personalised gifts from her new sister-in-law, Holly Ramsay. The lavish treats were given ahead of the couple's wedding at Bath Abbey on Saturday, 27th December 2025.

The gifts included a pot of the award-winning Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, retailing for £79, which had been specially engraved with the words 'Magic Beth'. Holly also presented Bethany with personalised pillowcases embroidered with 'Beth' and 'Bridesmaid', along with bags featuring Bethany and her partner Dan's names.

A black pyjama set, a sleep mask, and a handkerchief reading 'Beth Bridesmaid 27.12.2025' completed the generous haul. Bethany was one of just three Maids of Honour, standing alongside Holly's own sisters, Tilly, 24, and Megan, 27, all wearing matching satin red dresses.

A Family Divided and Feelings of Betrayal

While Bethany beamed walking into the abbey, the occasion was deeply painful for other family members. Adam Peaty's mother, Caroline, was uninvited from the ceremony and watched from 130 miles away at the family home in Staffordshire.

Insiders claim Bethany's decision to accept a prominent role in the wedding has left her mother feeling 'betrayed'. A source alleged, "Beth has betrayed her mum to see what she can get out of being the only family member who gets on with Adam and Holly." The source further suggested Bethany has altered her appearance and personality to fit into the Ramsays' celebrity lifestyle.

Bethany was the only one of Adam's three siblings to attend. His brothers, James and Richard, were also barred. Their father, Mark, was reportedly invited but told he would have to sit at the back 'behind the plus ones'.

Hen Party Tensions and a Public Statement

The family fracture became public weeks before the wedding when Caroline Peaty was not invited to Holly's hen party at Soho Farmhouse in November 2025. Bethany, however, attended the star-studded event, which included Victoria Beckham, and featured in Holly's 'Team Bride' social media posts.

In December, Adam broke his silence on the feud with an Instagram statement, speaking on behalf of himself, Holly, and Bethany. He wrote, "Bethany, Holly and I will get through this... there are always two sides to every story."

The drama reportedly continued at the wedding reception. According to reports, Gordon Ramsay, the father of the bride, made a pointed comment in his speech. After praising his wife Tana, he reportedly told Holly, "Shame you don't have the same," in a dig at Adam's absent parents. A family source said Caroline was 'outraged and hurt' by the remark, believing it was 'pre-planned'.

The newlyweds have since jetted off on honeymoon, leaving Bethany, who lives just 30 minutes from Adam in Derbyshire, to face the fallout from being the sole Peaty family representative at the high-profile wedding.
