Soap Star and Mother Welcome Daughters Weeks Apart, Raising Them as Sisters
In a heartwarming family story, Chilean soap star Catalina Castelblanco and her mother, Paula Meneses, have given birth to daughters just weeks apart, with the little girls now being brought up "like sisters." Catalina, a 28-year-old actress known for her roles in telenovelas, welcomed her daughter Nicoletta, while her 52-year-old mother, Paula, gave birth to Bruna a few weeks earlier.
A Unique Family Arrangement
Catalina revealed the surprising news during an interview on the Disney vodcast 'Buspool' with fellow actress Maria Paz Jorquiera. She explained, "I found out I was pregnant first and then she did, even though Bruna, my sister, was born a bit earlier." This unusual timing has created a special bond between the two mothers, who are navigating parenthood together.
Catalina shared her feelings about the experience, saying, "Experiencing motherhood at the same time as my mum is very powerful. We share fears, lessons learned, and also give each other a lot of support." The family baby boom didn't stop there; Catalina's 43-year-old aunt also became a mother a few months later, adding a third young child to the mix. Catalina joked, "So we have three young children in the family now. Imagine Christmas, how fun!" Both Nicoletta and Bruna are now five years old.
