Speculation is rife that Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell and her partner, influencer Joe Sugg, may have got engaged over the Christmas holidays. The couple, who are expecting their first child together next year, sparked the rumours with a seemingly innocent festive photograph shared on social media.

While spending the festive period with Dianne's family in Australia, the pair posted a series of loved-up pictures. However, one image in particular sent fans into a frenzy. It showed Joe down on one knee, tenderly touching Dianne's baby bump with a decorated Christmas tree in the background.
The pose was immediately interpreted by followers as a potential proposal moment. One fan commented, "Thought this was a proposal," while another directly asked, "Are you getting married while you are there before the birth of your son?" The couple have not confirmed any engagement, leaving the speculation to continue online.

The couple announced they were expecting a baby boy in September 2025 with a sweet Instagram video captioned, "Our little baby boy [red heart emoji] we cannot wait to meet you." They have already chosen a name but plan to reveal it after the birth.
Despite her pregnancy, Dianne continued to compete in the 2025 series of Strictly Come Dancing with celebrity partner Stefan Dennis, a star of Neighbours. This decision attracted some negative comments online, to which Dianne responded defiantly on TikTok, dancing and even performing a cartwheel.
Her time on the show ended abruptly in October when Stefan was forced to withdraw due to a significant calf tear. Dianne praised him as "the kindest human" and said he should leave with his "head held high."
