Strictly Come Dancing professional Dianne Buswell and her partner, YouTube star Joe Sugg, have ignited a fresh wave of engagement speculation among their fans following a seemingly innocent festive photo.
Festive Photo Fuels Proposal Frenzy
The couple, who are expecting their first child—a baby boy—next year, spent the Christmas period with Dianne's family in Australia. While sharing a series of loved-up holiday snaps on social media, one particular image sent followers into a spin.
The picture in question showed Joe down on one knee, tenderly touching Dianne's growing baby bump with their decorated Christmas tree in the background. The pose was instantly interpreted by many as a potential proposal moment.

Despite her pregnancy, Dianne competed in the 2025 series of Strictly Come Dancing alongside Neighbours actor Stefan Dennis. Her decision attracted some harsh criticism online, to which the dancer responded defiantly on TikTok, stating, "For all the people saying they can’t watch a pregnant girl dance! I just can’t help it when I hear the beat." Her run on the show ended prematurely when Stefan was forced to withdraw due to a significant calf injury in October.

Dianne and Joe's relationship has consistently captivated the public since it began, with fans initially speculating about a romance during their time on Strictly. Joe famously remarked after the final, "I may not have won the glitter ball, but I’ve won something a million times more special."
The couple have firmly settled into life together, recently moving into a sprawling £3.5million countryside mansion. Their relationship has also weathered talk of the infamous 'Strictly curse'.
