Dani Imbert's TikTok Rant Sparks Feud with Molly-Mae Hague Over Party Lifestyle
TOWIE's Dani Imbert takes swipe at Molly-Mae Hague on TikTok

A social media spat has erupted between two reality TV stars after a TikTok video took an unexpected turn. Dani Imbert, a 27-year-old star of The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE), posted a rant about judgemental attitudes towards her party-loving lifestyle, which fans believe contained a pointed dig at former Love Island contestant Molly-Mae Hague.

The TikTok Rant That Started It All

In a video shared this week, Dani Imbert passionately defended her love for nights out. "I love going out every weekend, I love partying, I love getting drunk with my friends," she told her followers. Her frustration was aimed at what she called "little pick me girls and judgemental boys" who she claims look down on her for her social habits.

She mimicked critics, saying they remark, "'it could never be me, I could never imagine going out every weekend.'" Dani hit back, stating, "You're right, you could never keep up... You probably are better off sitting indoors reading your book." She concluded that such people bring "bad vibes" to clubs and aren't wanted there.

The Dig at Molly-Mae Hague

The situation escalated in the comments section. Dani liked a comment that read, "More of this. Less Molly Mae." When a fan asked how to highlight the comment, Dani replied, "How do I pin this" alongside a heart-eyes and laughing emoji. This was widely interpreted as a public endorsement of the criticism aimed at Molly-Mae.

Molly-Mae Hague, 26, is famously a self-described homebody. She has openly discussed her dislike for heavy partying and drinking on her popular YouTube channel, which has 1.97 million subscribers. The perceived swipe prompted a swift defence from her loyal fanbase.

Fan Backlash and Molly-Mae's Stance

Molly-Mae's supporters quickly flooded the comments to defend her character and choices. One fan retorted, "Is this comment necessary??? Not everyone enjoys going out in short dresses looking to get laid... Molly is a classy girl who is making something of herself." Another added firmly, "Molly Mae is natural & classy sit down."

This incident follows Molly-Mae's own candid revelations earlier in 2024. In a YouTube video, she reflected on struggling to enjoy herself at her office Christmas party. "I actually really wanted to let my hair down last night," she explained, but concluded, "I think I may have realised that actually I just don't like having fun."

She detailed how even after cocktails, she found herself "stone cold sober" while others were merry. "It's a part of my personality that irritates me," she admitted, saying she tends to "recoil" when everyone gets up to dance.

The clash highlights the ongoing public fascination with the contrasting lifestyles of reality stars. It also underscores how a simple like or comment on social media can ignite a major fan war. Representatives for both Dani Imbert and Molly-Mae Hague have been contacted by the Daily Mail for comment.
