ITV has unveiled a first, festive glimpse of its star-studded Christmas Day daytime lineup, promising viewers a glittering schedule packed with special episodes. The channel's flagship shows – Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning, and Loose Women – have all filmed exclusive content set to air on December 25th, offering an alternative to the traditional Queen's speech for many households.
Festive Fashion and Famous Faces on This Morning
Behind-the-scenes images reveal the presenters pulling out all the stops for the occasion. On the This Morning sofa, a particularly joyous gathering saw hosts Alison Hammond, 50, and Cat Deeley, 49, joined by Dermot O'Leary and Ben Shephard. The quartet were in high spirits alongside special guests actress Kate Winslet and actor Tim Spall, all perched on the show's iconic large sofa.
Alison looked stunning in a chic black dress and stilettos, while Cat opted for a seasonally appropriate shiny red maxi dress. Former Coronation Street star Catherine Tyldesley, 42, also made a show-stopping appearance in a deep plunging velvet pinstripe dress.
Lorraine's Jumper Dilemma and Loose Women's Gift Swap
Over on her own show, Lorraine Kelly, 66, embraced the festive spirit in a cable-knit jumper adorned with sparkling bows, paired with a red satin skirt. The veteran presenter was seen in a playful predicament, hilariously struggling to try on different Christmas jumpers as they got stuck over her head. Her segment also featured a moment where she and the crew, including Dr Hilary Jones, presented a Guinness World Record award for throwing the most oranges into a Christmas stocking.
The Loose Women panel, featuring Christine Lampard, Coleen Nolan, Judi Love, Nadia Sawalha, and Jane Moore, was a vision of glitz and glamour. Christine, 46, dazzled in a glittering maxi dress, while Coleen chose sparkling silver and Judi stunned in red velvet. The ladies were joined by Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse, 35, who wore a tinsel headband and a sequinned emerald green dress for festive games and a gift swap.
Good Morning Britain's Celebrity Guests and Choir Performance
Not to be outdone, the Good Morning Britain studio was a hive of festive activity. Hosts Susanna Reid and Kate Garraway were joined by comedian Mo Gilligan, who sported red tinsel around his neck, and the Inner Voices choir for a special performance. In a surprise twist, Jonathan Ross made an appearance dressed as a Traitor in a black cape, alongside his former co-star from the show, Kate Garraway.
Fans can tune in to ITV1 and ITVX on Christmas Day, Thursday December 25th, to see all the festive fun, fashion, and games unfold across the network's special daytime programming.
