Lee Peart Debuts on This Morning, Teases Loose Women Return Amid ITV Shake-Up
Lee Peart's This Morning debut after Loose Women exit

Comedian Lee Peart has made his debut presenting a segment on This Morning, just months after his long-running role as the warm-up act for Loose Women was axed due to major ITV schedule changes.

ITV's Daytime Shake-Up Leads to Role Change

The appearance comes in the wake of significant alterations to ITV's daytime programming, announced earlier this year. From January 2026, flagship shows including Loose Women, Lorraine, This Morning, and Good Morning Britain will broadcast from a new central London base on a revised timetable.

As part of this revamp, Loose Women will revert to its former 12.30pm to 1.30pm slot for 30 weeks of the year on a "seasonal basis." Crucially, the programme will also no longer feature a live studio audience, which directly led to the end of Lee Peart's warm-up role, a position he had held since 2017.

A Festive Debut and New Ventures

On Monday, 22 December, Peart joined Craig Doyle and Sian Welby on This Morning via a live video link from Warwick Castle to present the viewer competition, stepping in for the usual host, Jeff Brazier.

"I'm feeling very festive because I'm here at the iconic Warwick Castle," he told the hosts, describing the Christmas atmosphere. Later in the show, viewers saw him attempting to skate on the castle's ice rink.

While his future on the programme is unconfirmed, Peart strongly hinted at more appearances. On his Instagram stories, he revealed he was en route to Warwick for appearances on both This Morning and Loose Women, posting footage of himself with a glass of red wine in the castle grounds.

Life After the Warm-Up Act

Since his emotional departure from Loose Women, which he marked with a social media post featuring panellists Ruth Langsford, Gloria Hunniford, and Kéllé Bryan, Peart has launched a new project. He is now co-hosting a wine-focused podcast called Bottoms Up! with his friend and Celebrity Traitors winner, Alan Carr.

The podcast promises a mix of lively chat, gossip, and wine advice, tackling questions from the best way to enjoy rosé to handling a disappointing bottle at dinner. Despite the schedule changes, his debut on This Morning confirms he remains a valued part of the ITV family.
