Coronation Street actress Julie Hesmondhalgh and EastEnders legend Ross Kemp were photographed arriving at Inverness Airport on Sunday morning, ready to begin filming the second series of Celebrity Traitors.
Ross Kemp in High Spirits
Ross, 61, who has portrayed Grant Mitchell on EastEnders intermittently for 36 years, appeared in good spirits, flashing a thumbs-up before getting into his car to head to Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands.
Julie Hesmondhalgh's Glamorous Arrival
Julie, 56, renowned for her role as Hayley Cropper on Coronation Street from 1998 to 2014, looked glamorous in a bright red dress with blonde hair as she arrived.
Cast Revealed
The cast of Celebrity Traitors series two was officially announced when the BBC released the first teaser trailer on Saturday. Maya Jama, Jerry Hall, and Romesh Ranganathan were among those already seen heading to the castle over the weekend.
Shortly after the announcement, Jerry Hall was spotted landing in Inverness alongside Richard E. Grant, Bella Ramsey, and Amol Rajan, before they drove off to the Scottish Highlands.
After months of speculation about who would follow in the footsteps of last year's winner Alan Carr, the 19 names were finally unveiled in a quirky new trailer. Alongside Ross and Julie, the lineup includes Michael Sheen, James Blunt, comedians Rob Beckett, Joe Lycett, Miranda Hart, Joanna McNally, James Acaster, Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock, mathematician Hannah Fry, broadcaster Amol Rajan, prankster King Kenny, Industry star Myha'la, Heartstopper's Sebastian Croft, and My Mad Fat Diary's Sharon Rooney.
Set in an airport arrivals area, the trailer shows a line of actors holding the iconic roundtable chalkboards with names. In a humorous twist, many names were deliberately misspelled, such as 'Rob Bucket', 'Miranda Heart', and 'Richardy Grant'.
