Lourdes Leon's Instagram Video Shows Model Smoking in Sheer Dress
Lourdes Leon, the 29-year-old daughter of pop icon Madonna, shared a video on Instagram this Tuesday that has quickly garnered attention. In the clip, the fashion model is seen smoking a cigarette while the camera lingers on her face before panning down to showcase her figure in a revealing black see-through dress.
Paris Fashion Week Connection
The video was actually recorded on March 8 during Paris Fashion Week, where Leon attended the Ottolinger show. She wore the same daring ensemble to that event, opting to go braless under the sheer fabric. The model occupied a front-row seat at the star-studded presentation, which featured the fall/winter 2026/2027 womenswear collection.
Beyond her modeling career, Leon has been developing her own singing career, carving out a path separate from her famous mother's legacy in the entertainment industry.
Madonna's Family Dynamics
This personal moment from Lourdes comes as her mother Madonna has been opening up about her own family relationships in recent interviews. The Holiday hitmaker is mother to several children: Rocco Ritchie, 25, from her marriage to ex-husband Guy Ritchie; David Banda, 19, whom she adopted; Mercy James, also 19 and adopted; and 13-year-old twins Stella and Estere, who were also adopted.
Madonna's Near-Death Experience and Reconciliation
In a revealing conversation on Jay Shetty's On Purpose podcast, Madonna shared details about a serious health crisis in 2023. The 67-year-old singer was unconscious for four days after contracting a bacterial infection and described a near-death experience where her late mother appeared to her.
'I was almost there on the other side, and I had a conscious moment,' Madonna explained. 'My mother appeared to me, and she said, 'Do you want to come with me?' And I said, 'No.''
This experience prompted the Material Girl singer to reflect on forgiveness and reconciliation in her own life. She specifically mentioned her brother Christopher Ciccone, with whom she had a longstanding feud that began with work-related disagreements and intensified when he published his 2008 book Life With My Sister Madonna.
The Path to Forgiveness
Madonna admitted that forgiving her brother was particularly challenging. 'For a really long time, it was my brother, who died recently, because I think the hardest ones are the people that you feel like you're the closest to,' she said. 'The people that hurt you the most are the people you love the most.'
The singer went three years without speaking to her brother before he reached out while battling pancreatic cancer. 'It was him being ill and reaching out to me and saying, 'I need your help',' Madonna recalled. 'That means having that moment, like, 'Am I gonna help my enemy?' And I just did.'
Madonna expressed relief at their reconciliation before Christopher's death last year. 'It was such a load off my back, such a weight that was removed, baggage that was put down to finally be able to be in a room with him and holding his hand, even if he was dying, saying, 'I love you and I forgive you.''
The juxtaposition of Lourdes Leon's contemporary social media presence with Madonna's reflections on family, forgiveness, and mortality creates a fascinating generational contrast within one of entertainment's most famous families.
