Negotiations as Final Diplomatic Gambit
US and Iranian negotiators are set to meet in Geneva on Thursday in what is described as a last-ditch attempt to avert military conflict. However, sources close to the administration indicate that President Trump is preparing contingency plans for an initial strike in the coming days should these talks fail. The objective of such a strike would be to demonstrate to Iran's leaders that they have no alternative but to abandon their nuclear weapons capabilities.
Escalation to Regime Change
If both negotiations and the proposed initial strike fail to persuade Iran's religious leadership to scrap their nuclear plans, President Trump has reportedly left open the possibility of a significantly larger military assault later this year. Alternative Strategies and Diplomatic Proposals
