Russian Drone Strikes Injure Over 10 in Odesa, Ukraine

Another night of Russian drone attacks on Ukraine overnight left more than 10 people injured, particularly damaging residential buildings in the Odesa region. The strikes caused the most significant damage in the central Prymorskyi district, where residential buildings, a hotel, and other facilities in the city center were damaged, according to Serhiy Lysak, the head of the local military administration, who reported on Telegram as cited by Reuters.

Extremely Difficult Night in Odesa

“It was an extremely difficult night,” Lysak said, adding that high-rise residential buildings, private homes, and vehicles came under attack in two other districts. The ongoing Russian assault continues to target civilian infrastructure, causing widespread destruction and endangering lives.

Ukraine's Prime Minister to Visit Poland

Ukrainian Prime Minister Julia Svyrydenko is expected to visit Poland today to participate in a conference on the “security and defence dimension” of Ukraine’s recovery. She will meet with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk to discuss further support and collaboration. The meeting is anticipated to yield important statements regarding military aid and reconstruction efforts.
