Rob Gronkowski's Wild WrestleMania Afterparty with Father in Las Vegas
Former NFL star Rob Gronkowski unleashed his inner party animal during a vibrant WrestleMania afterparty in Las Vegas on Sunday night, with his father Gordon proudly joining in the festivities. The legendary tight end hosted Gronk Beach, the official afterparty for WrestleMania 42, in partnership with DoorDash, transforming Sin City into a playground of wild celebrations.
Stage Antics and Trophy Drama
In video exclusively captured by the Daily Mail, the 36-year-old retired football player was seen clambering onto the stage, pulling out energetic dance moves while clutching a microphone to hype up the crowd. The revelry took an amusing turn when a replica Lombardi trophy—award Gronkowski knows well from his four Super Bowl wins—was produced from the audience.
However, Gronkowski was left hilariously dismayed to discover it commemorated the Denver Broncos' victory over the Atlanta Falcons, not one of his own triumphs with the New England Patriots or Tampa Bay Buccaneers. "Wait what the f*** is this?" he exclaimed. "Broncos 34, Falcons 19? F*** this Lombardi trophy!" He then spiked the trophy, sending it crashing to the stage floor and sparking shocked gasps from onlookers.
Family Fun and Shirtless Shenanigans
At one point, the four-time Super Bowl winner whipped off his shirt and paraded shirtless in front of the DJ booth, embodying the unrestrained spirit of the evening. Watching from the sidelines was his 65-year-old father, Gordon, who embraced the wild fun and even joined his son on stage later in the night.
Gordon jokingly admitted to the Daily Mail that Gronkowski definitely inherited his inner party animal from him, not his mother, as he reflected on the "incredible" evening. "He was a wild man," Gordon said of his son during childhood. "He was fearless, he was a wild man, and to see him up here doing all this, I wasn't one bit surprised. He was always the first one in the pack to do everything. He was fearless and it doesn't surprise me at all what he's doing."
Celebrity Guests and Future WWE Prospects
Gordon observed his son's antics alongside Gronkowski's girlfriend, Camille Kostek, a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model who waved a giant cardboard cutout of her NFL beau's face before joining in with raunchy dance moves. The vibrant event also featured an impromptu wrestling match between Gronkowski and Barstool personality Mike Katic onstage.
Gronkowski didn't rule out an official WWE appearance in the future, telling the Daily Mail, "I won't ever rule anything out because I've done so many things with the WWE. You know, in my past, I was a 24/7 champion. They're great people. I love working with them. They're first class—everything I've ever done with WWE—so I would never rule it out."
Teasing Tom Brady and Fan Interactions
He also teased that his close friend and former teammate Tom Brady might step into the ring to challenge nemesis Logan Paul, noting their ongoing "beef" over the past few months. "I thought they were going to fight at the flag football game, but it just didn't come to that situation, which is good. We didn't need any fights on that flag football field," Gronkowski said.
Before the afterparty, Gronkowski engaged with fans on the Vegas Strip, playing a game in front of the Fountains of Bellagio in partnership with DoorDash and Medium Rare to award DoorDash vouchers. This event served as the official afterparty of WrestleMania, sponsored by DoorDash, capping off a night of unforgettable entertainment and family bonding in the heart of Las Vegas.
