Epstein Emails Reveal Prince Andrew 'Boom Boom' Invite

Freshly uncovered correspondence has revealed that convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein inquired whether celebrity hairstylist Frédéric Fekkai desired the presence of Prince Andrew at a gathering he referred to as his "Monday boom boom." The email, sent in November 2010 and recently released by the Department of Justice, adds another layer to the complex web of associations surrounding the disgraced financier and the British royal.

The Email Exchange

The communication thread began on November 11, 2010, with Epstein asking the French luxury brand mogul about his whereabouts after revealing he was in Paris. Fekkai responded a day later, stating he was "In the uk." The exchange then paused until November 27, when Epstein posed the direct question: "Would you like prince Andrew at your Monday booom boom [sic]." Fekkai's reply was succinct: "Yes."

Context of the Invitation

This email surfaced just days before Prince Andrew's controversial visit to New York in early December 2010. During this trip, the Duke of York was photographed strolling through Central Park with Epstein. In his later, widely criticized BBC Newsnight interview, Andrew claimed the purpose of the American journey was to sever ties with the financier, stating he told Epstein it was inappropriate to remain in contact.

The trip occurred two years after Epstein had pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor for prostitution. Andrew subsequently admitted that staying at Epstein's New York townhouse during this visit was "wrong."

Connections to Fekkai's Salon

Additional documents indicate a deeper connection between Epstein's circle and Fekkai's business. Emails released by the Department of Justice show that a redacted number of individuals had regular appointments at Fekkai's Upper East Side hair salon. In May 2018, Epstein's executive assistant, Lesley Groff, emailed a group of recipients instructing them that "from now on Jeffrey would like you to please email me your request to go to Fekkai for any services."

Fekkai, who is married to Shirin von Wulffen, former head of PR at Yves Saint Laurent, has styled hair for numerous prominent women, including former First Lady Hillary Clinton. He has previously denied any awareness of Epstein's criminal conduct.

Testimony and Further Revelations

In 2024, Epstein victim Johanna Sjoberg testified that she overheard the financier on the phone discussing Fekkai and asking, "can we find some girls for him?" This testimony adds a disturbing dimension to the email exchanges.

Further details from the millions of documents related to Epstein reveal that Andrew's New York visit included a "very last-minute casual dinner" with guests reportedly including Woody Allen and his wife Soon-Yi Previn, journalist Katie Couric, Latvian model Lana Zakocela, comedian Chelsea Handler, talk show host Charlie Rose, and former White House communications director George Stephanopoulos. There is no suggestion of wrongdoing at this dinner.

Financial Entanglements and Social Engagements

Separate revelations indicate that Andrew approached Epstein to help settle a debt of $126,721 owed by his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, to her personal assistant. This financial entanglement sheds new light on what might have been discussed during the notorious Central Park walk.

Emails also show that Hollywood publicist Peggy Siegal gave Andrew two copies of the film The King's Speech during a dinner at Epstein's home. Siegal's email to Epstein on December 3 referenced Harvey Weinstein, whose production company was behind the film, suggesting he would be "angry" about the loan. Arrangements for the dinner included ordering "gold ballroom chairs" and table flower arrangements.

Disturbing Patterns

On December 4, 2010, the day before the Central Park walk, Epstein appeared to seek "new girls" in an email to a woman named Irina, asking, "Anyone new for tonight?" She responded, "Not yet, but I'm working on that!" This occurred months after Epstein had offered to arrange a dinner in London between Andrew and a 26-year-old Russian woman also named Irina.

During the visit, Epstein and Andrew went shopping at Barneys department store and had lunch with Next Model Management founder Faith Kate. Epstein also arranged for a driver to pick up model Lana Zakocela from the airport, offering to accommodate her for "one or two nights."

Messages between Epstein and Soon-Yi Previn show he requested "Sunday bagels" for breakfast on December 5 before the walk with Andrew. The Duke of York is believed to have returned to the UK on the evening of December 6, concluding a trip that continues to raise serious questions about his associations and activities.
