Fresh Allegations Surface Against Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in Epstein Case
Disgraced former prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is confronting new and serious allegations from an exotic dancer, who claims she was asked to perform "various sex acts" on him and the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. These claims have emerged from legal documents among the three million files released by the US Department of Justice last week, adding to the ongoing scrutiny of Andrew's associations.
Details from the Legal Letter
A letter dated March 23, 2011, written by attorney William K Vogeler on behalf of his client, alleges that Epstein hired the woman for a party at his Florida home. According to the document, she was promised $10,000 (£7,285) for the job but was never paid, and during the event, she was "treated like a prostitute." The letter further states that she was directed to an "upstairs bedroom" where she was introduced to Andrew, then the Duke of York.
Mr Vogeler wrote that his client danced for the men, stripping down to her "bra and panties," and that Epstein and Andrew subsequently asked for sex. After she refused, the attorney claims she was "prevailed upon" to "engage in various sex acts" during the alleged encounter. It remains unclear whether this claim was ever legally settled, but Andrew has consistently denied any involvement in wrongdoing related to Epstein.
Police Assessment and Royal Fallout
In a parallel development, police are now reviewing fresh allegations that Epstein sent a woman to have sex with Andrew at Royal Lodge, his former residence. This comes as Andrew has recently moved out of Royal Lodge under the cover of darkness, relocating to a temporary property on the Sandringham Estate while renovations continue at his permanent home, Marsh Farm in Wolferton, Norfolk.
Buckingham Palace had previously announced that Andrew would leave Royal Lodge "as soon as possible and practicable" after being stripped of his royal titles last October. King Charles took this drastic action to protect the monarchy's integrity amid Andrew's links to Epstein, a move that has been described as vindicated by the latest document releases.
Expert Commentary and Ongoing Pressure
Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond commented on the situation, stating, "Although he [Andrew] denies any wrongdoing, these emails have completely vindicated the King in taking the draconian action he did, stripping Andrew of his titles and evicting him from his home." Pressure continues to mount on Andrew to cooperate with US officials investigating Epstein's network, though he maintains his innocence.
The Daily Mirror has reached out to Andrew's representatives for comment on the new allegations, but no response has been provided at this time. As the story develops, further updates are expected regarding both the legal claims and Andrew's status within the royal family.
