A newly unsealed legal letter has made explosive claims that Prince Andrew and the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein solicited an exotic dancer for a threesome at Epstein's Florida residence in early 2006. The document emerged as part of a massive release of millions of pages by the US Department of Justice on Friday, shedding further light on the disgraced financier's network.
Allegations of Solicitation and Payment Offers
The legal correspondence, dated March 23, 2011 and written by attorney William Vogeler to Epstein's former legal representative Robert Critton, details disturbing allegations from an unnamed female client. According to the letter, Epstein extended an offer to pay the woman and other exotic dancers $10,000 each to perform at his West Palm Beach home.
The document states the woman, described as a popular dancer at Rachel's Strip Club, was chauffeur-driven to a party at 358 El Brillo Way in West Palm Beach during early 2006. Upon arrival, she reportedly observed other young women dressed provocatively, with some appearing to be as young as 14 years old.
Detailed Account of the Alleged Encounter
The legal letter provides a specific narrative of the alleged events. After being directed to an upstairs bedroom where she recognised Epstein from previous encounters at the strip club, the woman claims she was introduced to Prince Andrew. She then performed a dance for both men, undressing until wearing only underwear.
According to the attorney's account, Epstein and Prince Andrew then proposed a threesome, to which the woman responded that she was hired to dance, not to engage in sexual activity. The letter alleges the men "prevailed upon her to engage in various sex acts" after suggesting they would pay her later for dancing.
Financial Disputes and Settlement Proposals
The document reveals financial dimensions to the allegations, claiming Epstein ultimately paid the woman only $2,000 rather than the promised $10,000. Furthermore, the legal correspondence indicates the woman's representatives proposed keeping the alleged encounter confidential in exchange for a $250,000 payment.
Attorney Vogeler explained his client's delayed pursuit of claims, noting she "is not proud of the circumstances of that night" and felt treated "like a prostitute" despite working as an exotic dancer. The letter states she preferred to avoid "unseemly publicity" but was prepared to assert her rights publicly if necessary.
Distinction from Other Allegations
This latest claim represents a separate allegation from those made by Virginia Giuffre, who has accused Prince Andrew of sexual abuse on three occasions at various Epstein-associated locations. The Duke of York has consistently and vehemently denied all wrongdoing throughout the numerous allegations that have surfaced.
The release of this document forms part of the extensive Jeffrey Epstein-related materials made public by US authorities, which have included multiple references to Prince Andrew. These materials continue to generate significant scrutiny and raise further questions about the British royal's associations with the convicted sex trafficker.
