Trump Makes Low-Key Entrance at PGA Tour's Cadillac Championship in Miami
Trump Arrives Quietly at PGA Tour's Cadillac Championship

Donald Trump appeared to make a low-key entrance as he arrived for the Cadillac Championship 2026 in Miami on Sunday afternoon. The PGA Tour returns to President Trump's Miami golf course this week for the first time since 2016 as Doral's Blue Monster hosts the inaugural competition.

Trump's Arrival and Family Presence

During the final round of the competition, which boasts a staggering $20m prize fund, Trump was spotted pulling into the 'Trump Suite', flanked by granddaughter Kai Trump and Vanessa Trump. The event marks the first time the PGA Tour has returned to Doral since the World Golf Championships event in 2016.

Notable Absences from the Field

However, the field is missing five of the top 15 players, led by Masters champion Rory McIlroy. Also skipping the event are Xander Schauffele and Ludvig Aberg.

Security Incident Prior to Trump's Arrival

The President's arrival, meanwhile, came just hours after a man was taken into custody by Secret Service agents. Footage, posted on social media on Saturday, showed the man being detained by officers at a security checkpoint at Trump National Doral Golf Club in Miami. He was arrested after allegedly defying orders and 'getting physical' with a Secret Service agent, the New York Post reported. It is claimed the man was later taken to a correctional center in Miami and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting without violence.
