This newly named thoroughfare connects Palm Beach International Airport directly to Trump's private club and residence, Mar-a-Lago. The change was approved by Florida lawmakers last year.
Addressing the crowd, Trump suggested the new road signs would inspire patriotic feeling. "People who see the new sign will be filled with pride, just pride, not in me, pride in our country, pride in this state," he stated, adding that the nation was currently "stronger, richer and more successful."

The former president was introduced by Republican state representative Meg Weinberger. Notable figures in attendance included Trump's son, Eric Trump, and controversial far-right political activist Laura Loomer.
