Social media personality and fashion entrepreneur Chelsea Becirevic has embraced the latest online craze, posting a series of nostalgic photos from 2016 to her Instagram story. The trend, which has swept across Instagram and TikTok, sees millions of users sharing 'ten-year challenge' flashbacks, offering a glimpse into their past.
From the Archives: A Glamorous Flashback
On Thursday, Becirevic, often referred to as one of the AFL's most glamorous WAGs, published a grid of six throwback pictures. The former fashion designer, who is in a relationship with Port Adelaide ruckman Ivan Soldo, captioned the series: 'I am LOVING seeing everyone’s 2016 throw backs, so here’s me exposing myself... These are well and truly in the archive. But I love her.'
The photos, viewed by her 89,000 followers, showed a much younger Becirevic. They included a mirror selfie, a snap of her holding hands with a friend on a beach, a relaxed image in a dressing gown with a coffee, and two pictures showcasing her figure in a bikini.
A Whirlwind Decade and a New Fashion Venture
The last ten years have seen significant change for Becirevic. She has recently launched her own fashion brand, I'M TAKEN, which she describes as a long-term passion project coming to life. Her personal life has also been a journey, having met Soldo in Melbourne in 2022 while he was playing for Richmond.
Their relationship became public knowledge, and Becirevic, originally from the Gold Coast, relocated to Adelaide in 2023 after Soldo signed with Port Adelaide. She later made headlines by candidly discussing her initial difficulties adjusting to life in Adelaide, even briefly leaving to work as cabin crew for Emirates in Dubai.
Building a Life Between Two Cities
In 2025, Becirevic returned to Australia and she and Soldo purchased their first home together. However, she has now revealed plans to move back to Melbourne in July of this year to focus on growing her business, while Adelaide will remain a 'second home.'
'I’ll be setting up and working on our brand from there, while still going back and forth to Adelaide during Ivan’s season,' she explained to News Corp. She cited Melbourne's creative energy and fashion culture as ideal for building her brand long-term. The couple have also opened up about their future plans to start a family.
Reflecting on her new venture and life, Becirevic added, 'It’s been a passion project for both of us for a long time so it’s very exciting seeing it all come together now.'
