Bec Judd, the well-known media personality and wife of AFL legend Chris Judd, has proudly showcased a fresh new look for her iconic engagement ring. The 42-year-old took to Instagram to reveal she has had the stone re-set once again, this time opting for a sleek, modern design.
A Sparkling Transformation
In her social media post, Judd enthusiastically asked her followers, 'How good does it look?!', accompanying the caption with multiple photos of the updated sparkler. This marks the second time she has altered the ring's design since receiving the original 1.62-carat diamond when Chris proposed in 2009. Back in 2019, she added a diamond halo to the plain white gold band, but for this latest iteration, she has removed that halo and re-set the central stone on its own band, now featuring a distinctive pear-shaped diamond.
The Story Behind the Stone
Despite her husband being one of Australian Rules Football's highest-paid stars at the time of their engagement, Bec has been open about not paying the full retail price for the original ring. She previously clarified on KIIS FM's The 3pm Pick-Up that they secured a 'little discount' thanks to her work with jeweller Paul Bram. For this latest redesign, she once again collaborated with Bram, tagging him in her celebratory posts.
Celebrating a Lasting Partnership
The ring reveal comes shortly after Bec shared a heartfelt tribute to Chris to celebrate their 15-year wedding anniversary. The couple, who met as teenagers in a Perth pub and married on December 31, 2010, now have four children together. In an Instagram post documenting their two-decade romance, Bec wrote a loving caption, noting she had 'so much more to say' but would tell him face-to-face as he is not one for public displays of affection. The Judds' enduring partnership, from a Perth pub meeting to a family of six in Melbourne, continues to capture public interest alongside their stylish life updates.
