In response, Brahin and Grijalba filed a countersuit in February 2023, citing breach of contract and requesting $50,000 in damages plus legal costs. They argued that while they were experienced event organisers, the Peltz family were challenging to work with. The countersuit revealed that Claudia and Nicola Peltz had insisted that Victoria Beckham, Brooklyn's mother, not be informed of any planning mistakes, and that Nelson Peltz was kept in the dark about the cost of Nicola's hair and makeup services, which exceeded $100,000.
Settlement and Final Outcome
The drama escalated in March 2023 when Nicola and Claudia Peltz filed a motion to be removed from further legal proceedings, calling the allegations "malicious and mean-spirited." However, the dispute was eventually resolved in September 2023 with a joint settlement.
