Cat Deeley's Makeup-Free Hampstead Day & Brutal Jeff Brazier Swipe on This Morning
Cat Deeley's makeup-free day out and Jeff Brazier swipe

Television presenter Cat Deeley was spotted enjoying a casual, makeup-free day out in the upscale London neighbourhood of Hampstead on Friday. The 49-year-old This Morning host showcased her natural style and flawless complexion during a relaxed errand run.

A Relaxed London Look

Deeley opted for a comfortable yet stylish ensemble to brave the British weather. She was seen wrapped up in a khaki green parka jacket featuring a cosy fur-lined hood. Her off-duty look was completed with a pair of blue jeans, lace-up leather boots, and oversized aviator sunglasses. The presenter wore her hair straight and, notably, went completely without makeup, revealing clear skin as she stepped out of her car.

Sunny Studio Spat: Deeley vs. Brazier

The low-key outing came after a week where Deeley made headlines for her on-air remarks towards fellow ITV presenter Jeff Brazier. The incident occurred on This Morning, which is now broadcast live from the show's new studio at The H Club in Covent Garden.

Brazier, 46, appeared on the programme via a live video link from a hotel resort in sunny Gran Canaria, where he was promoting ITV's latest competition. The prize includes £90,000 and an all-expenses-paid trip to the island. From the grey and wet London studio, Deeley did not hide her envy.

'It wasn't the best weekend so if you're craving some sunshine, there's Jeff Brazier... this is almost verging on offensive now from Jeff. He's swanning around!' Deeley quipped to co-host Ben Shephard.

Brazier, standing poolside, fired back with mock sympathy: 'It's been tough, just feeling the sun hitting my skin, it's really, really difficult. No, I'm a team player - I've come here to bring you the sunshine.' He was joined in the segment by Andi Peters, who also presents the competition.

ITV's Daytime Shake-Up

This playful exchange happened against the backdrop of significant changes to ITV's daytime television schedule. In 2024, the broadcaster implemented brutal cuts and reshuffles:

  • Good Morning Britain was extended by 30 minutes.
  • Lorraine was reduced by half an hour.
  • Loose Women was cut to just 30 weeks of the year.

While This Morning retained its two-and-a-half-hour runtime, it was moved from its traditional home to the new studio in central London. The debut broadcast from The H Club last week featured a major set redesign, with the iconic blue sofa relocated to the left-hand side and a new kitchen area on the right, which left some fans initially unimpressed.

The show continues to air weekdays from 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
