Chezzi Denyer Reveals Her Three Daughters Inherited Her Psychic Abilities
Chezzi Denyer: Daughters Inherited Psychic Abilities

Chezzi Denyer, the wife of Australian television personality Grant Denyer, has long professed her ability to communicate with the deceased. In a startling new revelation, she now asserts that her three young daughters have inherited this same eerie psychic gift, marking it as a chilling family trait passed down through generations.

From Fear to Acceptance of a Supernatural Legacy

Chezzi, aged 46, admitted that for years she harboured a desperate hope that her children would not share her psychic capabilities. She feared societal judgment and the potential repercussions of such an unusual ability. However, after decades of silence, she has chosen to fully embrace what she believes is an innate family characteristic.

"That was probably the biggest fear, that people would say I was crazy, that I held for a long time," Chezzi confessed in an interview with The Daily Telegraph. "And then I thought, 'You know what, it's crazy living my entire life not speaking about this and seeing it in my kids.'"

Daughters' Psychic Experiences Unsettle and Amaze

Chezzi and Grant Denyer are parents to three daughters: Sailor, 13, Scout, nine, and Sunday, five. The television personality disclosed that her eldest daughter, Sailor, began uttering profoundly unsettling statements during her childhood, which initially prompted Chezzi to suppress the child's apparent psychic expressions.

"My eldest daughter, she said things that terrified me early on, so I blocked it in her, out of fear," Chezzi revealed, describing her initial protective maternal instinct.

However, her approach has dramatically shifted with her youngest daughter, Sunday. Chezzi now encourages and celebrates the child's supernatural inclinations, viewing them as a positive aspect of her personality.

"In my third daughter, we have been very open with her. Her kookiness, her craziness, comes out in spades... I love that," she expressed warmly.

A Memoir of Supernatural Encounters

Chezzi Denyer has recently published a memoir titled The Weird Little Girl Who Talked To Ghosts, which chronicles her extensive experiences with the supernatural realm. The book is currently available across Australia, detailing her personal journey with psychic phenomena.

"I believe every single person was born with the ability to connect to spirits," Chezzi added, emphasising her conviction that psychic potential is universal, though often untapped.

Overcoming Religious and Personal Fears

In December, Chezzi publicly disclosed her mediumistic abilities after years of private struggle during which she feared she might be "going crazy." Her initial terror stemmed from her Catholic upbringing, which led her to worry that exploring her gift might open a "demonic portal" or condemn her spiritually.

"I actually went to my doctor. I had to take the fear out of it because at first I thought I was going to go to hell," she told The Daily Telegraph. "I was raised a Catholic. I had to go back through all of my personal story as to why I was so petrified I was going to open up some demonic portal. It has been huge – my entire perception of myself has changed."

Formal Training in Spiritualism

Chezzi began seriously exploring her medium skills in 2022 following the death of a close friend. She enrolled at the Arthur Findlay College in Essex, England, a residential institution renowned as "The World's Foremost College for the Advancement of Spiritualism and Psychic Sciences."

In 2024, Chezzi revealed she had become "qualified" to provide readings as a "spiritual medium," having completed her studies at the "top of her class," as discussed on her and Grant's podcast, It's All True?, during a conversation with guest George Sargent.

Her formal journey into mediumship began in May 2023 when she announced her intention to become a spiritual medium, commencing online studies with The Medium School in Canada. This educational path has equipped her with the credentials and confidence to practice professionally, while also helping her reconcile her abilities with her personal beliefs and fears.
