Love Island's Hannah Elizabeth on OnlyFans 'blacklist' and UK stigma
Hannah Elizabeth on OnlyFans 'blacklist' and UK stigma

Former Love Island contestant and glamour model Hannah Elizabeth has spoken exclusively about the professional repercussions and societal judgment she faces for her work on the adult content platform OnlyFans.

Beyond the stigma: What she really does

The 35-year-old from Liverpool, a former Playboy Bunny and two-time villa resident, is keen to dispel myths about her content. She insists her work is far from the full-on 'porn' many assume.

"I don't do porn, no," Hannah stated. "I do now what I did in the lads' mags that were on the shelves in Asda, Tesco and Sainsbury's years ago! Everyone's seen my boobs, anyway."

She argues that the imagery is already widely available online and sees no reason to stop. "Until I'm too old, I'm going to keep doing it. It's all I've ever known. And I'm proud of what I do," she added.

Brands 'blacklist' creators despite empowerment talk

Despite the financial freedom and control of being her own boss, Hannah revealed a significant downside: being shunned by mainstream brands.

"I think brands literally single out OnlyFans creators and won't work with them," she explained, highlighting a contradiction in modern corporate messaging. "I just don't think it's right because there's so much talk about feminism and women being empowered and in control of their own bodies. But it's not OK if you're doing OnlyFans?"

She noted this 'blacklisting' is a point rarely discussed openly, even by brands that promote inclusivity.

A cultural divide: UK judgment vs. US acceptance

Hannah pointed to a stark cultural difference in attitudes, suggesting the stigma is particularly potent in Britain.

"It's the judgment you get, sometimes from other women - especially in the UK," she said. "In America, you're a weirdo if you don't have OnlyFans!"

She believes platforms like the new ITV2 series Getting Filthy Rich, presented by Olivia Attwood, are vital for breaking down misconceptions. Hannah features in the first episode, which aired on Sunday, January 18 at 10pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

The series sees Attwood meet with Hannah and other well-known creators like Kerry Katona, Lauren Goodger, and Katie Price to discuss the reality of the industry.

As for a return to the Love Island villa, the All Stars fan ruled herself out. "I've done it twice... I'm a bit too old now," she admitted, though she'll be watching the new series to support friend Belle Hassan.

Currently single, Hannah concluded with a laugh: "It's hard out here on these single streets... I'm not running after any man, he needs to run after me!"
