Katie Price has publicly addressed the end of her relationship with JJ Slater for the first time, sharing a series of cryptic posts about finding the "right person" on her Instagram Story this Wednesday.
Cryptic Clues and Soulmate Quotes
The 47-year-old former glamour model and the Married At First Sight UK star, 31, parted ways earlier this month. Their split came after nearly two years together, with a source telling the Daily Mail that Katie concluded JJ was not "husband material."
In her online update, Price posted several poems and quotes centred on love and destined connections. One piece, credited to Mike Poetry, stated: "They say falling in love takes time. But it's not true. Falling in love only takes the right person - the one who knows exactly what you need, without having to ask."
Another post discussed recognising a soulmate and the supposed divine signs that appear upon meeting them. A final quote shared by Katie read: "My mum always says when you meet the male version of yourself is when you meet the love of your life."
JJ Slater's Post-Split Focus: Fitness and Weight Loss
While Price turned to poetry, JJ Slater has channelled his energy into physical fitness following the breakup. The reality TV star revealed on his own Instagram that he has been working intensively with an online coach.
In a video posted to his Stories, Slater announced he had already lost 2.8kg (approximately six pounds) in just ten days. "He holds me accountable, he sorts out my nutrition, sorts out my workouts, makes sure I'm doing my steps, my cardio," JJ explained about his coach from Konditioning Coaching.
Slater expressed his intention to document this new health journey for his followers, hoping his progress might inspire others to consider similar coaching.
A Relationship That Wasn't "Meant to Be"
Katie Price and JJ Slater began dating in February 2024, shortly after JJ found fame on E4's Married At First Sight UK. During their relationship, Price even spoke about the possibility of having a sixth child with him.
However, an insider revealed that doubts had been growing for some time. "Katie has had doubts for some time about whether JJ is husband material, but she hoped those concerns would fade," the source said. "Instead, her fears only grew, and she's now accepted the relationship will not end with her walking down the aisle for a fourth time."
The source added that JJ, who has since moved back to his home in Essex, was "disappointed" and "genuinely saw a future with Katie."
Price has been married three times previously: to singer Peter Andre, former cage fighter Alex Reid, and personal trainer Kieran Hayler. She is a mother of five, sharing children with Andre, Hayler, and footballer Dwight Yorke.
JJ Slater appeared on the 2023 series of MAFS UK, where he notably pursued a relationship with transgender bride Ella Morgan despite being initially matched with another contestant.
