Katie Price's 'Deflated Balloon' Bum Surgery After Mum's 'Too Thin' Plea
Katie Price's new surgery after mum's 'too thin' text

Reality TV star and former glamour model Katie Price has undergone another cosmetic procedure, receiving filler in her buttocks just moments after her concerned mother sent her a text message pleading with her to stop losing weight.

Mum's Desperate Text Minutes Before Surgery

The 47-year-old mother of five was filming a YouTube video at a UK clinic on 18 January 2026 when she received the message from her 73-year-old mother, Amy Price. Reading the text aloud to her vlog viewers, Katie shared her mum's blunt assessment: "Kate, you are too thin. You look shocking. Are you using a pen? You are ill." The reference to a 'pen' is believed to be about weight-loss injection devices.

Katie, who has sparked concern in recent months with her visibly shrinking frame, sent a voice note back to her mother. She revealed she is told "every week" that she looks "too thin", but insisted the weight loss was due to being "more active again and healthier".

'Bringing Life' Back to a 'Deflated Balloon'

The primary reason for her clinic visit was to address what she described as a "deflated balloon" appearance in her posterior. Price explained to her audience that after significant weight loss, she had lost volume in her buttocks. "Where I've lost weight, and when you lose weight, you lose it everywhere, and I seem to have lost it on my butt," she said.

The procedure involved having 500ml of filler injected to restore volume. "I am not looking at my bum any more looking like a deflated balloon," she declared, adding that while others told her it was "fine", she disagreed and was taking action.

Defending Her Choices and Addressing Critics

Katie Price used the platform to hit back at critics of her frequent cosmetic surgeries. "Damn what anyone says, they're not me. I am me. And I will do what I want to myself," she stated defiantly.

She also addressed the controversy surrounding some of her past procedures, particularly trips to clinics in Turkey. "You're always going to hear horror stories wherever you go... what annoys me is you always hear about the things that have gone wrong," she said. The star revealed she has personally experienced complications, including her body rejecting breast implants "loads of times", but emphasised that this was a bodily reaction, not necessarily the fault of the surgeon.

In response to her mother's text, Katie predicted the next message would criticise her for the buttock surgery, saying, "Yes, I'm sorting my ar*se out so I expect the next message from you will be 'Oh you're so stupid'."

Separately, on Instagram, Price revealed she had also undergone more facial filler, as well as new eyebrow and lip blush treatments, which she said made her feel like the "old" Katie from her peak 'Jordan' fame days.

The star said she expected to be "sore for a couple of days" following the buttock procedure, planning to record her podcast from bed and lie on her front to aid healing.
