Love Island star Leah Taylor was pictured putting on a brave face during her first public appearance since her split from Aston Villa footballer Morgan Rogers was revealed. The 29-year-old television personality enjoyed a girls' night out in Manchester on Wednesday evening, attending the Mars The Label party with a group of friends and former co-stars.
A Night Out in Manchester
The event marked Leah Taylor's return to the social scene following news that her romance with the 23-year-old Premier League player had ended. She was joined by a contingent of reality TV faces, including Gabby Allen, 33, Molly Marsh, Jess White, Mitchell Taylor, and Hayley Griffin. The group made a stylish arrival at the Manchester party, turning heads with their fashion choices.
Leah Taylor opted for a striking white lace corset paired with a matching pencil skirt. She completed the look with cream stilettos and a quilted vanity-style handbag. Her friend Gabby Allen also chose a corset top, teaming it with a brown feathered mini skirt, platform heels, and a luxurious faux fur coat.
The End of a Short-Lived Romance
The split between Leah Taylor and Morgan Rogers came to light on Tuesday when it was noticed the pair had unfollowed each other on Instagram. A source confirmed to The Sun that 'It’s all over and they’ve unfollowed each other.' Their relationship had only become public in November, when they enjoyed a series of dates, including a romantic getaway to the Cotswolds.
During that November trip, Leah had shared a snap of Morgan from behind on a winter walk, captioning it 'I like it here' with a heart emoji. They stayed at the 4-star Cowley Manor hotel in Cheltenham. At the time, a source close to Morgan had indicated things were going well but were not serious, noting, 'He wants to keep it under wraps, but Leah just couldn't help herself.'
Looking for Love with Intention
This split adds to Leah Taylor's history of rocky relationships in the public eye. She found fame on ITV2's Love Island, where she was at the centre of drama, coupling up with Tyrique Hyde and later Mitch Taylor, before being ultimately paired with semi-professional footballer Montel McKenzie. She was dumped from the villa in a viewer vote.
In a previous interview with the Daily Mail, Leah expressed her readiness to date again, stating she was actively looking for a husband. 'I am genuinely at a place where I feel healed, and I am ready to date again,' she said. She emphasised dating with more intention, adding, 'I feel like if I found the right person, I would be open to settling down now.'
Following the end of her relationship with Montel, which ended amid speculation of unfaithfulness, Leah stated she doesn't 'forgive twice'. Her experience has led her to a place where she doesn't want to 'waste time on something that isn't going to be serious.' Representatives for both Leah Taylor and Morgan Rogers have been contacted for comment by the Daily Mail.
