After several years residing in Los Angeles, O'Porter has recently returned to the United Kingdom with her husband, actor Chris O'Dowd, their two sons, Art and Valentine, and an assortment of family pets.

When asked about her most recent personal indulgence, O'Porter revealed her enthusiasm for Frøya face cream. "I kept getting spammed with it on Instagram and eventually gave in," she confessed. Her beauty arsenal includes the premium Lyma laser, a device she was fortunate to receive for trial. "They are painfully expensive, so I feel lucky," she remarked. The strong red light laser requires three minutes of daily application to different facial areas. "You're supposed to see results after three months," she notes, adding that since incorporating the laser, her Botox requirements around the eyes have halved. "A device like this goes deep and definitely works. But the price tag is OUCH."

O'Porter's preferred online retailer is Fumbalinas, which she describes as "a mecca of fabulous kaftans" and her personal version of a candy shop. For footwear, she turns to Esska for their combination of style and comfort.
Her favourite physical store is Trindle Stores, located near Kew Gardens station. "I love independent food brands," she explains, praising the shop's selection of premium products, excellent coffee, and charming nursery seating area.
When it comes to fashion regrets, jeans top her list. "Countless pairs of jeans," she sighs. "I see other women look so great in them, so I buy them and never wear them because I can't quite get it right for my shape."

For groceries, O'Porter frequents a combination of a local independent health food shop and mainstream supermarkets Waitrose and Marks & Spencer. Despite her preference for in-store shopping, she acknowledges the convenience of delivery services. "EVERYTHING," she responds when asked about delivery purchases. "I am trying so hard to go to the shops instead, and I love going to the supermarket, but finding the time is so hard."
Her home coffee preparation involves a French press accompanied by a splash of homemade almond milk.

O'Porter identifies food and skincare as her primary expenditure areas. "That's what most of my money goes on," she reveals.
Conversely, she economises on eyebrow products, considering the eyebrow industry "a scam." Instead, she utilises dark brown eyeshadow for her brows, refusing to purchase specialised products.
When contemplating hypothetical purchases of £20 and £200, she would select a quality nail file for the former ("I like to do that while I am mulling over what to write about at my desk") and allocate the latter to cosmetics. Her makeup favourites include Charlotte Tilbury, Victoria Beckham products, and Jones Road foundation, which she particularly adores.
Vintage Treasures and Repeat Purchases
O'Porter maintains saved searches for high-waisted vintage circle skirts on platforms like eBay and Vinted. "I can never have enough," she admits. "I'm a sucker for one with a novelty print."
Her most frequent repeat purchase is dark brown eyeliners, while her greatest vintage discovery is a white Ossie Clark garment featuring a Celia Birtwell print.
